Indo Tambangraya (ITMG) Secures IDR 10.5 Billion in Funds to Continue Drilling

PT. Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk. (ITMG) said that coal mining operations will be carried out in the period from January to March 2025.Monika Ida Krisnamurti, Corporate Secretary of ITMG, in a written statement on Thursday (10/4) said that the drilling activities carried out in the month were a continuation of activities carried out in the previous month through its subsidiary, spending a total cost of IDR 10,050,582,188.84.The exploration activities carried out by PT. Trubaindo coal Mining conducted exploration in the South Block area located in West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province, which was carried out by the Drilling Services Contractor PT. Cosyindo Teknik (CT).In the period from January to March 2025, pre-production drilling activities have been carried out on the South Block (SB2), while for the South Block (SB3) it is still waiting for the PPKH Exploration permit to be approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry at a cost of IDR 789,840,918.84.Meanwhile, the Drilling Operations of PT. Indominco Mandiri were carried out in the West Block located in Sangatta District, East Kutai Regency, Marang Kayu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency and North and South Bontang Districts, Bontang Regency, East Kalimantan Province, carried out by the Drilling Contractors PT. Geryndo Utama (GU) and PT Dunggio Drilling.In the period of January-March 2025, PT. Indominco Mandiri only carried out drilling activities in the West Block in the form of pre-production drilling with a total of 400 coal samples and spent a cost of IDR 4,314,453,231.Meanwhile, PT Bharinto Ekatama's Drilling Operations are located in the Lempenang and Tenaik Blocks (Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan) producing 832 coal samples using the Pre-production method: open hole and coring at a cost of IDR 2,726,654,963.
